I consider it a privilege to serve both you and your child as the principal of Kempsville Elementary School Our school is blessed with a long history of an active PTA and Partners In Education program.  This past year we were supported by numerous hours of volunteer service to our school.  This partnership ensures that the best possible educational environment available is provided for our students. KES is an example of a school that lives its mission: “…unites with its families and community partners to develop each child's potential, provide a strong educational foundation, and instill an enthusiasm for lifelong learning.”

From my experience as an educator and a parent, only with the partnership of home and school can our children meet their highest potential. To meet this goal we must communicate frequently. You can expect monthly communication from me to keep you informed of special programs and events coming up at school. Your child’s teacher will keep you informed of your child’s progress in the classroom concerning growth both academically and socially. Together we can help our students reach their full potential in all areas in their lives. Teamwork is the foundation of an exemplary school. Our school flourishes due to the active involvement of our team! Thank you for your support.
